Global commitments

I.

Cultural Rights

Art. 27 · UN

We claim art as a fundamental human right. Our structure ensures that everyone has the space and the voice to take part in cultural life.

II.

Gender Justice

CEDAW

Hilanderas is a refuge from gender-based violence. We use performing arts as a tool for symbolic reparation, autonomy and empowerment for women and gender-diverse people.

III.

Climate Justice

SDG 13

Our artistic practice is bound to caring for the earth through permaculture and zero-waste processes.

We are not a hierarchy. We are a loom.
